You cannot tell who is genuine
Employers are verified against their company registration (CAC for Nigerian companies, the local registry elsewhere) and a person checks every document by hand. Candidates are checked before they are ever shown to you.
Candidate details are shared too early
Shortlists are anonymised: no name, phone, email, address or past employers. You confirm that a candidate is suitable and ready for the next stage, and only then are the full profile, CV and documents released to you.
Nobody knows where a candidate stands
Employers and Ascendia work on each candidate together in their dashboards, with messages, interview results and a clear status until the person is hired or declined. Candidates can see where each application stands.
Job posts attract the wrong people
Send us the role: title, location, pay, qualifications, skills and perks. We review it, add screening questions with the answers you expect, and publish it only when it is ready.
Fake recruiters and surprise fees
